Okay, so after the success and disappointment of Canvas 4, Micromax has something new to offer. Micromax recently came out with the Micromax Canvas Kight A350 with 1.7GHz Octa-core processor.
The Micromax Canvas 5 or also being named as Canvas Best A300 would be the first of its kind and will be sporting a full HD screen, a 1080p display of 5" dimension clocked at 2GHz Octa-core processor.
Well I know, you people are eager to know about the specs and let me tell you, the ones you had craved for on the Canvas 4, will be there in the Canvas 5. No official reports but I guess 4G LTE might be a miss this time.
Micromax showed the techno-sphere their stand in publicity, production, and advertisement by successfully luring people towards their Canvas 4 and actually making them wait for its launch instead of other big ones.
The Canvas 5/ A300 is going to run on MediaTek's octa-core chipsets MT6592.
Remember, we are the very first on the net to make our readers able to know the exact, correct and cofirmed specifications before anyone else. So we proudly present you with the confirmed specs of Canvas 5 are as follows:
- 2GHz MediaTek Octa Core processor MT6592
- 2GB RAM
- 5" 1080p Display
- Corning Gorilla Glass(Front and Back)
- 16MP rear camera and 5MP front camera
- 16 GB internal storage
- New User-Interface
- 3000mAh Battery
- Yamaha Speakers
- Android Jelly Bean 4.2, updatable to 4.4 Kitkat.
We also are going to leak out the very first Benchmark Scores. They are as follows:
AnTuTu: The Micromax smartphone has scores of 26886, which is higher than the Samsung Galaxy S4 (26147) and the HTC One (26556).
From the scores itself, it's understood, what a beast it is proving out to be.
ANDROID OS: I know, what most of you are thinking, that's why still MMX is coming out with 4.2 JB and not 4.4 kitkat. Well right now, directly from the R&D, we get the news its running initially in JB but it may come to the market with 4.4 onboard. And if not, sure it is going to get the firmware update(OTA).
NEW UI: Micromax's new UI can either be a direct port of a launcher already present in the Google Play(paid) or they can be outrageous enough to bring out its completely new UI. The more-than-enough 2GB RAM for using the UI without lags, unlike Touchwiz UI, which Samsung gives in every device, even with 512MB RAM enabled phones, making it laggy and irritating.
BATTERY: Ah!, I know many are all in smiles with the magical figure 3000mA. For a FHD 5-inch display, the battery provided will be sufficient and am glad they didn't repeat the mistake of using 2000mAh as in Canvas Turbo.
16MP CAMERA: When news surfaced and later became confirmed that Samsung Galaxy S5 is going to have a 16MP rear-shooter, the world went ga-ga. Now, we being Indians, are proud to announce, that this Gurgaon-based company is also gifting us a 16MP camera with the Canvas 5. Front camera is touted to be 5MP but it might come with 8MP also.
INTEX will be soon launching its Octa-core enabled Aqua device and probably MMX wont be able to race ahead of it. But it can be estimated that the Canvas 5 would be coming with a host of features or some uniqueness as it has been found in every Canvas devices. Another thing, which I am looking forward to is, recently, MMX Facebook Fan Page asked its members to vote/choose between Dual SIM or an extra SD card. So it seems, they might be choosing either of them or surprise us with both of them.
This device will also be launched in the international market, Russia and Romania.
The other big news is that, Micromax would be releasing not only Android but Windows devices too!
As for the price of Canvas 5, I guess, it will be within Rs.22,000.
