Okay, so after the success and disappointment of Canvas 4, Micromax has something new to offer. This time it is a confirmed report that their next device would be the MMX Canvas 5
The Micromax Canvas 5 would be the first of its kind and will be sporting a full HD screen, a 1080p display, probably of 5" dimension or more.
Well I know, you people are eager to know about the specs and let me tell you, the ones you had craved for on the Canvas 4, will be there in the Canvas 5. No official reports, it has high chances to be 4G LTE ready.
Micromax showed the techno-sphere their stand in publicity, production, and advertisement by successfully luring people towards their Canvas 4 and actually making them wait for its launch instead of other big ones.
The Canvas 5 is also rumored to run MediaTek's octa-core chipsets. Well, it is known that MediaTek in reality has taken the leap in manufacturing and producing octa-core processors by the end of this year and MMX recently contracting a deal with MediaTek, certainly indicates to come up with a device sporting octa-core at a reasonable price.
The speculated specs of Canvas 5 are as follows:
- 1.7/2.0 GHz MediaTek Octa Core processor MT6588 or MT6592
- 2GB RAM
- 5" 1080p Display
- 4G Ready
- 8/13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera
- 16/32 GB internal storage
- New User-Interface
This time, Micromax Canvas 5 will be debuting with its very own custom User-interface. It will also be having a completely new design. This device will also be launched in the international market, Russia and Romania.
Another big news is that, Micromax would be releasing not only Android but Windows devices too!
